Merchmates.com – Podcast 15 – Printful + Etsy Success – $496.70 in 30 Days – Video Tutorial

Hey guys,

Welcome to Podcast 15! Today I’m going to run through the awesome Printful + Etsy Integration and explain how I’ve made close to $500 in the last 30 days. (minus expenses of course)

The Etsy Description I use for the Gildan 64000 shirt is below, feel free to use this as a template (don’t copy word for word please :)) for your store once you get setup with Etsy.

If you have any questions about the Integration leave a comment below and I’ll answer it the best I can!

ABOUT OUR SHIRTS:

Our print partner (Printful) takes between 2-7 business days to create apparel products and then shipping time is included on top of that. In many cases shirts are received within 5 days of your order but can fluctuate depending on workload.

INCORRECT SIZING ORDERS:

We do not refund orders for buyer’s remorse, and size exchanges are to be paid by the customer. A new order, at your expense, would need to be placed for an updated size if you choose to accept or offer size.

SIZING OF SHIRTS:

PRINTING COLORS:

It’s important to note that although our print partner (Printful) use the very best DTG printers sometimes colors may look different on a real product than what you see on your computer monitor. Even if you have calibrated your monitor to a specific color profile, there are various factors that influence the final appearance of colors on a printed product. Because of this, we can’t guarantee color accuracy 100%. If you have any questions about the color accuracy please send us a private message.

TAKING CARE OF YOUR SHIRT:

Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. Use non-chlorine bleach, only when necessary. No fabric softeners.

Tumble dry low, or hang-dry for longest life.

Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration.

Do not dry clean.

  1. Hi Luke,

Great job with the podcast, really love it.

I opened my Etsy store with Printful today and uploaded my first 2 T-shirts. I started with Etsy Advertising and I have a budget of $1 per day, both for Google listings and for Etsy. What’s your daily budget for advertising? Do you advertise all your uploads?

Also, do you have any insights on Etsy SEO? I am trying to crack their algorithm.

Keep up with the good work.

    Regards,

    Bogdan

    1. Hey Bogdan,

      Thanks for the comment mate!

I started with $1 daily budget too, but have since moved up to $5 a day and started seeing a really good bump in sales which I’m really happy about. I don’t advertise on all listings but I look at what’s getting the most organic traffic and then run a promoted listing to those items.

I’ve done some research on Etsy SEO and they recently update the algorithm for how your listings are found. Right now your listing title needs to match your tags as closely as possible; meaning if your title was “worlds best dog dad ever” you would have tags like “worlds best dad” “best dog dad” etc. The description doesn’t get any kind of Etsy SEO but everything listed in the description goes towards how your items get found on Google so I copy and paste my title into the description to assist with Google SEO. No sales from Google searches just yet but hopefully that’ll grow over time too!

      Hope your store goes well!

      Cheers, Luke.
